Book: Little Fires Everywhere
I almost devoured this small, unassuming book in a single sitting. Of course, toddlers attacked, but if not for that I would have just read the whole thing from cover to cover. To be honest, I couldn’t even tell you what “happened” in the book, only that the people in it, their challenges (including a foster mother fighting a birth mother for custody) were so poignant and empathetic that I was left with the feeling I could never judge another soul in my life. Enjoy this little piece of magic!
Makeup: Nars Pure Radient Tinted Moisturizer
This is the only foundation I use, and I get so many compliments on my “amazing” skin. Let me tell you, it’s not that amazing, it just looks that way because of this plumping, dewy tinted moisturizer secret I have. I top it with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder.
Home: Bed (Literally, the store is called “Bed”)
100% Organic Cotton Sheets made local to me (maybe not to you) that are my ALL TIME favourites. They colours are so cool and they just get softer with every. single. wash. They even have tie dye. All the tie dye.
Style: Lululemon Align Pant
I am living in these pants. In fact, last week my husband asked me, “Have you been wearing the same pair of pants for three weeks.” No honey, I just have three pairs and have been doing laundry super often because I don’t want to wear anything else! They’re super high-waisted, but not compression, so it doesn’t feel constraining in anyway. Dare I say it’s even comfier than being naked?
Gadgets: Well Kept Safety Razor
This beautiful razor makes shaving a ritual worth savouring, not to mention the environmental benefits of ditching the disposable razors and razor-heads.
